ZKTeco is proud to partner with Residence H Sen Sok by providing a state-of-the-art smart parking solution for its five-floor parking structure, enhancing convenience and security for residents and visitors.
As a luxury residential project located in the suburbs of Phnom Penh, most residents drive in and out, and many visitors also arrive by car. The traffc in the residential area can be quite busy during peak hours, such as commuting times, and the visitor traffc is also considerable on holidays. The carpark at H Sen Sok consists of five levels, and vehicles must use the car elevators to park on different floors. The floors are not interconnected, which slows down vehicle flow, and drivers have no way of knowing which floors have available parking spaces. If they discover that all spots are full after entering a level, they must take the elevator again to find another level with available spaces, leading to frequent congestion in the parking lot. To improve the operational efficiency of the parking garage, H Sen Sok aims to enhance the performance of parking management.
ZKTeco has installed the Mini LPR (License Plate Recognition) system at the entrances and exits of the five-storey carpark, connecting it to the parking lot's vehicle barrier system. Additionally, ZKTeco PGS (Parking Guidance System) has been installed in the parking lot. Both systems are integrated with the ZKBio CVSecurity comprehensive security management platform and linked with the customer's third-party elevator control and parking fee systems via API.
These are vehicles belonging to H Sen Sok residents that are registered and can enter and exit the parking lot at any time. The information for these vehicles is registered in H Sen Sok's parking fee management system, allowing ZKBio CVSecurity to access the data through integration. When these vehicles enter or exit the parking lot, the ZKTeco Mini LPR system installed at the entrance will recognize the vehicle. The system can automatically identify the vehicle's license plate number, allowing the barrier to open without the driver needing to swipe a card or go through other identification procedures.
Non-registered visitor vehicles will be automatically recognized by the ZKTeco Mini LPR system upon entering. ZKBio CVSecurity will send the vehicle's information, including the entry time, to H Sen Sok's parking fee management system. Upon exiting, the Mini LPR will recognize the vehicle's license plate number, and ZKBio CVSecurity will relay the vehicle data, recognition time, and applicable fees to the parking fee management system. After completing the payment process, H Sen Sok will send data to ZKBio CVSecurity, which will issue a command to open the barrier for the vehicle to exit.
ZKTeco has installed a series of vehicle sensors, parking guidance, and elevator control devices to create a comprehensive parking guidance system.
ZKTeco has installed a PGS-DS-05 parking guidance display at the parking lot entrance, linked with PGS-ISD vehicle sensors installed in each parking space. The PGS-ISD vehicle sensors use ultrasonic detection to determine if a parking space is occupied and transmit this data to the PGS-DS-05 display. Based on available parking spaces, the PGS-DS-05 will show the number of available spots on its LED screen for drivers to reference.
Once a vehicle enters, it must use the car elevator to park on a different floor. To ensure convenience, ZKTeco has installed PSA02 and PSA03 sensing devices at the elevator doors, connected to the ZKTeco EC10 elevator controller. When a vehicle approaches the elevator, the device sends a signal to keep the elevator door open until the vehicle has completely entered, preventing any accidents from the door closing on the vehicle.
Since the ZKTeco EC10 elevator controller is also linked with the PGS-ISD vehicle sensors, it can determine the status of available parking spaces. When a driver enters the elevator, the EC10 will only activate the buttons for floors with available spaces, preventing drivers from mistakenly entering a floor that is full and having to return to find another level.
Once the vehicle arrives at the selected floor, the PGS-DS1 parking direction indicator screens installed on each level will display arrows directing the vehicle to available parking spaces. The PGS-ISD vehicle sensors at the spaces will also indicate availability with lights—red for occupied spaces and green for available ones—allowing vehicles to find parking quickly.
When leaving, the vehicle simply enters the elevator and does not need to select a floor; the EC10 will automatically direct the elevator to the level of the parking lot exit, ensuring a smooth departure.
The ZKTeco Mini LPR license plate recognition system is a high-performance camera with an exceptionally high recognition rate of 99.9% in daylight and 99.7% at night. Additionally, it can accurately recognize license plates at high speeds in less than 200ms from distances of up to 10m, enabling quick, accurate, and convenient access.
The parking management solutions provided by ZKTeco are designed to promote the efficiency of parking management. Its long-distance license plate recognition and integration with the payment system allow vehicles to be quickly identified and billed without manual recognition, registration, or calculation. This not only facilitates fast vehicle entry and exit but also reduces human error.
Furthermore, ZKTeco's parking guidance system provides clear indications and navigation from the number of available spaces upon entry to selecting floors in the elevator and finding parking spots upon arrival, reducing the need for drivers to make decisions on their own. This significantly speeds up vehicle flow during busy times.
ZKTeco's products are designed with customer cost efficiency as a priority, possessing strong integration capabilities with a variety of third-party devices and systems to maximize functionality. The ZKTeco Mini LPR system can integrate with existing vehicle barriers, preserving the hardware and design of the parking lot entrance while minimizing changes and adding advanced license plate recognition to enhance the management functionality.
Achieving such a powerful integrated system would not be possible without mentioning the robust features of ZKBio CVSecurity. ZKBio CVSecurity is a comprehensive security management platform software with various modules, including access control, parking management, and elevator control. ZKTeco leverages its strong integration capabilities to connect via API with H Sen Sok's existing third-party parking fee management system, allowing customers to retain that system, avoiding additional costs, and preventing the need for security staff to adapt to a new system.
Through the powerful integration capabilities of ZKBio CVSecurity and various hardware devices, ZKTeco integrates all parking management and elevator control equipment with H Sen Sok's existing hardware and software systems, achieving interconnectivity. This maximizes cost efficiency while providing the customer with a high-performance parking management solution.
