Alpha Building (Alpha Tower) is a building with a prime location in the center of District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. With the current 11 years of operation and development, Alpha Tower has been upgraded to combine 2 adjacent buildings to form a Grade B office building for lease to catch up with the new trend of many enterprises.

Project Requirements

In order to avoid daily congestion at the entrance of the building in peak hours, and ensure easier and more effective security control of the building, the Building Management Board needed to deploy smart lane security gate combined with elevator control system that have the speed of processing information quickly, efficientlyand high traffic frequency. A comprehensive operating solution that brings sophistication in each feature combined to ensure maximum security in the building.

Solution

Entrance Control

The entrance control lane gate system has been implemented using new technologies such as swing barrier security gate SBTL8000 & SBTL8200 combined with face/palm access control and time attendance stand-alone terminal Elite Pass at the main entrance hall of the building. Swing Barrier SBTL8000 & SBTL8200 are kept in locked mode until user information is successfully verified via Elite Pass access control and time attendance terminal, then automatic retractable barriers allow user to enter the area. For card and fingerprint identification, the project has been installed inBio260pro & inBio460pro central controllers combined with the FR1500S reader to enhance the security level. The system requires all users of the building to go through a security gate and authenticate with multi-biometric or card-based features to allowed access.

Elevator Control

To control the elevator stratification, ZKTeco has developed the SpeedFace M2 and EC10 device system installation that allows access to previously authorized elevator floors using multi-biometric identification. The server room is equipped with a ZK8500R Series device - USB fingerprint scanner and card issuer that provides a simple, efficient way to register a user's fingerprint and card number with ZKTeco software. All automatic security gate and elevator stratification control systems are integrated with ZKBioSecurity 3.0 overall management software to manage and store data, divide entry and exit times, and report access information for the Building Management Board.
