Project Requirements
A high-end commercial premise as Menara Danareksa is, the client is highly concerned of the safety and the prevention  of any security loophole. Here below are the requirements.
A. Effective Entrance Control
The premise is a major commercial office building with numerous access for work daily, thus it requires an  effective entrance control system in the main entrance & exit of the building to ensure smooth traffic during the  peak hours. Also, in order to ensure safety, it is required to have efficient verification to prevent any irrelevant and  illegal access to the building.
B. Visitor Management
Apart from employees, there are also visitors entering the building for different purposes. Our client thus required  an effective identity authentication of the visitors while not causing major inconvenience to them due to  complex registration and time consumption.
C. Elevator Control
One commonly seen congestion of commute is the long queue waiting for the elevators for access to different  level of building. Our client expected an efficient system to well manage and ensure smooth traffic of the  elevators.

Solution Details
ZKTeco deployed an entrance control system consisting of 10 units of SBTL7000 and 10 units of SBTL7200 swing  barriers to form a multi-channel entrance & exit of the building to significantly increase the capacity of access  and exit during the peak hours of work.
All employees accessing the building are registered with their personal information which are stored in their staff  cards for verification. In order to access through the main entrance, they are required to swipe their staff cards  upon the readers installed on the SBTL swing barrier for identity authentication. Upon successful authentication  they are allowed access.
For visitors not having their personal information registered in any cards, ZKTeco provided RS100 optical  character recognition reader for the system. Instead of manually filling in forms, visitors are only required to have  their identity documents scanned by the RS100 OCR readers, their personal information will be instantly and  automatically read and registered, then temporary cards will be issued to the visitors for access to the building.
ZKTeco also deployed an elevator control system with 2 units of EC10 and 4 units of EC16 elevator controllers for  elevator control.
The above devices are all connected to the 33 units of InBio Pro 260 access controllers are then centrally  managed by ZKBioSecurity integrated security management platform software. As the software covers a wide  variety of functions, it effectively manages both entrance control, visitor management and elevator control.
All staff cards and visitor cards’ information are stored in the database of ZKBioSecurity, with the specific  designated floors the persons are entitled for access. After accessing through the main entrance, floors will be  automatically selected by the elevator controllers depending on the cards’ rights to prevent unnecessary access  to other floors.

Functional Description
· The SBTL series is a series single-lane swinging barrier turnstile designed for quiet, lancer operation and draws  very little force. Made of stainless steel which makes SBTL Series very durable.
· The SBTL series is usually stored in a position-locked state, thus denying access to the secured side, once the  SBTL (RFID and/or fingerprint) reader positively recognizes the user's valid access card or fingerprint, its barrier  swings automatically, thus allowing the user to log in to the secure side.
· InBio Pro Series IP-Based Biometric Access Control Panel The InBio Pro Series is a high-end, project-oriented  product line with unique features such as embedded fingerprint verification and advanced access control  functions, which can be managed by TCP/IP communication over a LAN or WAN network.
· ZKTeco, EC10 and EX16 elevator controllers are elevator controllers that provide customers with the most  secure, scalable, versatile and affordable access control solutions. Access to different floors may be restricted  based on various user credentials, including fingerprints, proximity cards and/or passwords. A predetermined  time schedule can also be used to control floor access. During normal visits/working hours, unrestricted floor  access may also be allowed.
· ZKBioSecurity is the best "All in One" web-based security platform developed by ZKTeco. It contains several  integrated modules: access control, attendance time, elevator control (online/offline), hotel module, visitor  management, parking, guard patrol and video linkage. With an optimized system architecture designed for a  high level of biometric identification and a modern user-friendly UI, ZKBioSecurity provides the most advanced  solution for an entirely new user experience.
