Nestled within the economic hub of Dong Da District, it is close to high-end commercial and residential projects and international five-star hotels like Pan Pacific and Grand Mercure Ha Noi. Grand Terra was officially launched in December 2023, delivering sustainable spaces and high-end experiences to retailers and office tenants. ZKTeco is honoured to have had the opportunity to provide them an integrated solution of access control, visitor management, video surveillance and parking management.
Solution
The Grand Terra consists of a main commercial building and a carpark. ZKTeco’s deployment of the integrated solution include:
For the Building
Access Control of the Main Entrance
For the main entrance into the building, ZKTeco deployed G4-Pro Hybrid-Biometric Access Control Standalone Terminals, which are installed on the SBTL8000 Series Swing Barriers, to form a multi-channel entrance into the lift lobby. All the regular users of the building are registered with their personal information and their face data on the ZKBio CVSecurity Integrate Security Management Software Platform. To access the building to different floors, instead of card swiping like commonly seen, they are only required to scan their faces, and upon successful identity authentication, they are allowed access to the lift lobby.
Access Control inside the Building
A unit of KF1100 Facial Authentication Reader has been deployed at each stair door of every floor of the building for facial authentication. For the VIP room located at the 9th floor, and the VIP restrooms at each floor, G5 Facial Authentication Standalone Terminals are deployed for identity authentication, only the authorized users and guests are allowed access. For the areas that required enhance security, including server rooms, security rooms and technical rooms, KF1100 Readers are also deployed for the access control, and only the authorized staffs are allowed access.
Visitor Management
At the main entrance of the building, a FaceKiosk H13C Facial Authentication Self-service Kiosk is installed for visitor management.Visitors arriving at the building have two methods to register their entry and exit:
A. If the user has sent an electronic invitation (SMS or email) to the visitor prior to the visit, the visitor can register their information by accessing the provided website. After completing the registration, the system will automatically send a QR code to the visitor. When the visitor arrives, they can scan the QR code on the FaceKiosk H13C and then scan their face. After successful identity authentication, they can access the main entrance through facial recognition.
B. Even without pre-registering online, visitors can still self-register their information and scan their face on the FaceKiosk K13C upon arrival. After successful verification, they can also access the main entrance through facial recognition.
For the Carpark
Parking Access Management
Users who drive are pre-registered with their vehicles’information such as license plate numbers on the ZKBio CVSecurity. At the carpark entrance, an LPRS1000 License Plate Recognition System, BG1000 Vehicle Barriers, and SpeedFace-V5L Facial Authentication StandaloneTerminals are installed.
Upon users’arrival to the entrance of the carpark, there are several methods of access and exit of the carpark:
During normal working hours, if a user drives a registered car, the LRPS1000 will automatically identify the license numbers of the car, and grant access and exit;
During normal working hours, if a user drives an unregistered car which cannot be identified by the LPRS1000, the users may perform facial authentication with the SpeedFace-V5L installed at the gate of the carpark. Upon successful identity authentication, the user will be granted access or exit;
Before or after the normal working hours, in order to enhance security, even if a user drives a registered car identified by the LPRS1000, the user still needs to be verified with facial authentication, in order to be granted access or exit.
Visitor Management
A TBM01 QR code ticket dispenser is installed and connected to an LPRS1000 system. In case the LPRS1000 reads the vehicle license plate numbers and confirms that it is not a registered user's vehicle, it then prints out a QR code ticket with the relevant vehicle information and allows the vehicle to enter. When the visitor is leaving the carpark, they only need to scan the QR code ticket into the TBM02 QR Code Collector installed at the exit.The system will verify then the license plate, and the visitor will then be allowed to drive out.
Video Surveillance
ZKTeco has deployed High-Definition Video Surveillance Cameras including DL-854N28B-S7, EL-854N38I-E3, and BL-855P48A-S7 at different main access points and various areas of the building, elevators and carpark that require security monitoring. All the recorded videos are transmitted to the ZK-VS-8624-8G ProfessionalVideo Server and managed by the Z8536NMR 36-channel Network Video Recorder. A total number of 6 units of ZK-LED55A-2K-1.8MM large display screens have been installed to form a large video wall to display the live broadcast from all the surveillance cameras in real-time.
Central Management
All the devices of access control, visitor management, parking management and video surveillance, have been connected to and centrally managed by the ZKBioCV Security Integrated Security Management Software Platform.
