Optima Tower is one of the most iconic Class A smart office buildings in Mexico City. For more than twenty  years, its spaces have served as the local offices for several leading multinational companies across various sectors of the economy. Tenants of this building enjoy a prime location, excellent amenities, state-of-the-art technology, and stunning views of the city.

REQUIREMENTS

• Implement a secure and efficient pedestrian access control system capable of managing a daily flow of approximately 3,000 users while maintaining a seamless entry experience.

• Provide multiple authentication methods including biometric verification, virtual credentials, and physical cards to enhance user convenience and operational flexibility.

SOLUTION

To meet the high security and smooth traffic flow requirements of Optima Tower, ZKTeco deployed an  integrated, intelligent entrance management system combining high-performance physical barriers,  advanced control panels, and a unified security management software platform: 

Pedestrian Access Hardware Deployment: 

Configured 2 units of Mars S1000 and 2 units of Mars S1200 in the main lobby, creating 3 high-throughput  access lanes. The modular, sleek design of the Mars series blends perfectly with the upscale interior aesthetics of the Class A  building while delivering fast, smooth barrier movement to manage peak-hour foot traffic effectively. 

Multi-Modal Access Control & Centralized Processing:

Powered by 3 units of InBio 460 IP-based door access controllers, offering robust multi-door control, real-time event processing, and seamless multi-factor authentication (supporting biometric data, virtual QR/NFC credentials, and RFID cards). Integrated 1 unit of UHF10 Pro long-range reader for extended range authentication/vehicle verification,  enhancing convenience for tenants and staff. 

Unified Security & Data Management: 

Centralized management through the ZKBio CVSecurity platform, allowing administrators to monitor entry points in real-time, configure flexible permissions for multinational tenant offices, issue guest virtual credentials, and generate comprehensive traffic analytics for over 3,000 daily users.
