The New Zealand College of Chiropractic is a leader in chiropractic education, with an international reputation for excellence. They wanted a fast, touchless way to capture class-by-class attendance and the option to reuse the same platform for basic door access where needed.
Challenges
NZCC required a B/S-based software platform capable of managing multiple class attendance scenarios to ensure accurate and flexible attendance coverage. The institution runs hundreds of student timetables with frequent room changes and tight turnarounds between classes, resulting in complex, large-scale timesheet management requirements. Manual roll-taking was time-consuming and inconsistent across lecturers, often leading to disputes over late arrivals, early departures, and missed contact time.
Solution
ZKTece deployed SpeedFace-V5L standalone terminals, with biometric processing capability well suited for high-traffic requirements, ensuring accurate and reliable attendance time capture. The client’s expanded access control requirements are well supported. The powerful ZKBio Time software is used to generate corresponding attendance reports and groupings, providing better data for lecturers and administrators.
