The police station is located in an urban area, where managing access to parking and ensuring smooth, secure vehicle and personnel entry and exit is crucial. With various law enforcement vehicles and authorized personnel moving in and out of the premises daily, the station needed a solution that could handle high volumes while ensuring the security and smooth flow of operations. Requirement

· Control and Restrict Entry

The primary goal is to establish a comprehensive control system that effectively restricts entry to the premises. This system will be designed to prevent not only unintended visitors but also unauthorized vehicles and malicious actors from accessing sensitive areas, thereby enhancing overall security.

· Efficient Control of Authorized Access

It is crucial to manage the entry and exit of police vehicles, official cars, and authorized personnel efficiently. By streamlining these processes, the system will ensure that authorized users can access the premises quickly and without unnecessary delays, maintaining operational effectiveness.

· Real-Time Status Indicators

To facilitate effective monitoring, the system will incorporate real-time status indicators that  provide immediate feedback on its operations. This feature will allow security personnel to quickly assess the system's functionality and respond promptly to any issues that may arise.

· Reliable Vehicle and Personnel Authentication

A key aspect of the project is to implement a reliable and secure method for recognizing vehicles and personnel. This recognition system will not only enhance security but also prioritize user convenience, ensuring that authorized individuals can gain access with minimal hassle.

The solution will be designed with a focus on ease of installation, making it straightforward for the station to adopt. Additionally, seamless integration with the existing infrastructure will be prioritized, reducing disruption and ensuring a smooth transition to the new security measures.

Solution

ZKTeco has deployed a CMP200 Vehicle Automatic Parking Barrier, which enables direction adjustment depending on parking lot configurations with a telescopic boom arm. The integrated LED indicator  displays the operational status of the barrier, helping security personnel easily monitor its functionality. The barrier’s ability to open and close quickly and automatically helps block access from unintended visitors, reducing the risk of criminals or unauthorized personnel entering restricted areas. 

ZKTeco UHF10 Pro has also been deployed at entry point to read UHF tags on authorized vehicles, ensuring only recognized and approved vehicles can enter the police station's grounds. This reduces the risk of unauthorized vehicles entering, which could otherwise be a security threat. And its rapid authentication ensures that there are no delays in entry for quick response in case of any emergent needs.
