Siam Patumwan House is a premium Grade A office building situated in the bustling Siam area of Bangkok,  conveniently located near the BTS National Stadium. This 33-floor project is designed to meet the highest  standards of modern business environments, offering advanced facilities and a secure operational framework.  To ensure the safety and convenience of tenants and visitors, the building employs the robust ZKTeco Visitor  Management System and Access Control technologies.

Requirement
The implementation of an effective access control solution for Siam Patumwan House was driven by several  key requirements:

Comprehensive Access Control 

Manage access to over a hundred doors, including regular access points and emergency exits, ensuring  security while allowing for easy evacuation in case of emergencies.

Visitor Management 

Enable efficient management of visitors through a streamlined check-in process, allowing for pre-registration  and self-service options.

Integration with Existing Elevator Control System 

Enhance security and efficiency by integrating access control with the Hitachi Elevator Destination Control  System, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access specific floors.

Modern Access Technologies 

Implement advanced technologies such as QR code scanning and facial recognition for both tenants and  visitors to improve convenience and security.

Solution

The access control solution implemented at Siam Patumwan House is a comprehensive system that leverages  multiple technologies to meet its security and operational goals:

Access Control Management 

inBio 160 Pro controllers were deployed to manage access to standard doors and monitor fire escape routes  across the building. This allows for centralized management of over a hundred access points, ensuring  comprehensive security. 

Turnstile Integration 

SmartAC1 [QR/MF] devices were installed at turnstile gates and near elevator entrances, enabling secure and  efficient access control. This includes QR code scanning functionalities for visitors and mobile authentication  for tenants. 

Elevator Integration

The security system integrates seamlessly with the Hitachi Elevator Destination Control System. This ensures  that only authorized individuals can call and access specific floors, enhancing security while optimizing  elevator traffic.

Visitor Management 

The solution features a pre-registration system for visitors, allowing them to check in via a simplified self-service process. Upon arrival, guests can scan their QR codes to open gates and gain access, streamlining  visitor flow. 

Access Control 

Face-scan and card scan technologies were implemented to provide multiple layers of access security for  tenants. This dual-faceted approach enhances security and convenience, allowing quick, contactless entry.
