ZKTeco Showcases Pioneering Technologies in FISA 2022 in Chile

From 16th to 20th November 2022, ZKTeco participated in the Feria Internacional De Santiago 2022 – the 38th International Fair of Santiago in Parque Fisa, Santiago in Chile, which is a renowned multi-sectoral and massive event of direct sales to the final public. The event was participated by over 300 exhibitors and 20 embassies and attended by over 50,000 visitors to visit various stands with technologies. 



During the event, ZKTeco managed to display its state-of-the-art technologies and the latest innovations and advancements of biometrics recognition, products and solutions targeting both public sectors, enterprises and personal users.



For large-scale companies, ZKTeco also showcased its devices enabling smooth and efficient access monitoring and control of heavy vehicle flows with its advanced License Plate Recognition technique (LPR), which is a technology that uses optical character recognition on images to read vehicle registration plates to generate vehicle location information. Through this framework, high security and quick access control and parking charge management can be maintained. As a part of smart city construction, LPR systems have gradually become a trend globally, as it is ideal for a wide diversity of applications. Comprehensive integrations of different video surveillance systems and cameras are also enabled.



The Santiago International Fair, organized by FISA, had its first edition in 1962, in Parque Cerrillos, Maipú commune, Santiago, replacing the Agricultural, Livestock and International Exhibition in charge of the National Agriculture Society - SNA. The objective of the fair was to establish commercial relations between producers, distributors and consumers through an offer where the main technological advances, capital goods, inputs and trends from the "first world" countries were exposed, serving as a platform for the conducting business, investments, imports and exports in Chile. Its latest version was made in 1998, as a result of the gradual change in economic conditions and trends in the country.
