Project Requirements

Multi-locational Time & Attendance and Access Control

Al Khayyat has a wide range of businesses, including construction, retail, office, logistics, and more. Due to the large number of employees to manage, an efficient time and attendance and access control management system  is required to ensure security and human resource efficiency.

Multiple Options of Identity Verification

As Al Khayyat requires identity verification for access control and attendance management in various locations, different identification methods are needed. For example, some locations require fingerprint identification to prevent  proxy clocking, while some workplaces are difficult to use with contact-based identification methods. The client requests a system that provides different identification methods to choose from according to the requirements.

Convenient Central Management

As Al Khayyat has multiple access control and attendance management locations, it would be time-consuming and  costly to manage each location independently. Therefore, a simple and convenient management system is needed.

Compatibility with Existing System

As the client already has their own operating system, they hope to be able to continue using it with the new time and attendance and access control management solution.

Solution Details

Time & Attendance — Main Office

ZKTeco installed 2 units of G3 time & attendance management standalone terminals in Al Khayyat's main office.  All employees who work in the office have their personal information, facial data, and fingerprint data recorded in  the attendance system. When employees clock in and out, they only need to use facial recognition or fingerprint  recognition. 

The G3 is a hybrid biometric terminal that uses advanced fingerprint recognition technology to quickly and accurately identify fingerprints, greatly improving security. In addition to fingerprints, the G3 also supports multiple verification methods such as password, card, fingerprint + password, etc., to meet the needs of different scenarios. The fingerprint database of the ZKTECO G3 can store up to 5,000 fingerprints, making it suitable for small and medium-sized  enterprises or office buildings.

Time & Attendance — Retail Shops

ZKTeco installed a total of 114 units of iFace950 time & attendance management standalone terminals in all of the  client's retail stores, including clothing stores, pharmacies, and general stores for daily necessities and health products. The iFace950 uses advanced facial recognition algorithms to achieve high-precision facial recognition within 0.5  seconds, greatly improving attendance efficiency.

In addition to facial recognition, iFace 950 also supports fingerprint recognition, card swiping, and other verification  methods, making it convenient for users to perform attendance according to different situations. The iFace 950 has a storage capacity of up to 100,000 attendance records, which can meet the attendance needs of large enterprises. 

The iFace 950 supports multiple communication methods such as Ethernet, USB, and RS485, making it easy for users to exchange and share data with other systems. It can also flexibly change the installation connection method  according to different situations to reduce installation costs.

Time & Attendance — Construction Sites 

ZKTeco provided a total of 15 units of ZKTeco S922 time & attendance portable terminals for the client's different construction sites. The S922 is a handheld attendance device based on fingerprint recognition and RFID technology.  Its handheld design makes it lightweight and easy to carry, suitable for various scenarios such as construction sites, logistics warehouses, banks, etc. The S922 also supports multiple verification methods, including fingerprint  recognition, RFID card swiping, password, etc., to meet the attendance needs of different users. 

The S922 has a large-capacity storage capacity and can store up to 50,000 fingerprint data and 50,000 card swiping  records, meeting the attendance needs of large enterprises. In addition, the S922 also supports multiple communication  methods such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, etc., making it easy for users to exchange and share data with other systems. 

The S922 also has an IP65 protection level, which can resist the erosion of dust and water, making it suitable for use in  harsh environments. 

In addition to fixed office locations, Al Khayyat also provides transportation services for employees at construction  sites. ZKTeco installed G3 hybrid biometric attendance machines in each of the employee transport vehicles  and added 3G connectivity, allowing attendance data to be wirelessly transmitted to the system for convenient  attendance management.

Access Control 

In addition to employee attendance management, Al Khayyat also wants to ensure the security of its office premises  to prevent losses from unauthorized access to important areas. 

Access Control — Main Office 

ZKTeco installed more than 10 BioPro SA30 fingerprint recognition attendance standalone terminals in the server room  and private meeting room of its main office to identify the identities of people entering and exiting. Only authorized  employees or specific individuals are allowed to enter and exit. 

The BioPro SA30 uses advanced fingerprint recognition technology to quickly and accurately identify fingerprints. In  addition to fingerprints, the BioPro SA30 also supports multiple verification methods such as password and card, to  meet the needs of different scenarios.

The fingerprint database of the BioPro SA30 can store up to 5000 fingerprints, making it suitable for small and mediumsized enterprises or office buildings. The BioPro SA30 supports network connectivity, enabling real-time attendance  data synchronization, making it convenient for management personnel to perform attendance management and data statistics.

Access Control — WareHouse

ZKTeco also installed ProCapture-T fingerprint recognition attendance machines in Al Khayyat's warehouse.  ProCapture-T uses advanced fingerprint recognition technology to quickly and accurately identify fingerprints. In  addition to fingerprint recognition, ProCapture-T also supports card swiping, password, fingerprint + card, fingerprint +  password, and other verification methods, to meet the needs of different scenarios. 

The fingerprint database of ProCapture-T can store up to 50,000 fingerprints, making it suitable for large enterprises or organizations. 

ZKTeco ProCapture-T supports multiple authentication modes, including 1:N mode, 1:1 mode, and multiple card reader  modes, to meet the needs of different scenarios.

Centralized Time & Attendance and Access Control Management

All the attendance and access control management devices mentioned above are connected to the ZKTeco BioTime attendance and access control management platform for centralized management. The client does not need to collect  data from each store or office location and upload it to the central system. The system allows management personnel  to view and manage attendance and access control data at any time.

Third-party System Integration

As Al Khayyat is already using the Oracle Solaris data system, it would not be cost-effective to abandon it and install a  new solution. ZKTeco arranged for system integration between BioTime and the client's existing system to exchange  and synchronize data between the two platforms, making it convenient for users to perform attendance management  and data statistics.
