CHALLENGE
Mahindra University required a streamlined and technology-driven approach to manage student access to the hostel canteens and seamlessly link it with their meal billing process to prevent:
• Possibility of proxy usage or unauthorized entry
• Time-consuming reconciliation of food consumption data
The existing method relied heavily on manual tracking, which created operational inefficiencies in tracking actual usage of canteen services. Collectively, these limitations highlighted the need for a fully integrated and reliable solution to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy and security.
SOLUTION
An RFID Card-Based Entrance Control Solution integrated with our security software was implemented and seamlessly linked with the existing system to manage meal billing operations based on student entry and exit records across the university's hostel canteens.
