Requirements
The client required an automated access control system for their fitness center to enable 24/7 operations without the need for on-site staff supervision. The system must restrict facility access strictly to active members. This required the installation of advanced access control readers and seamless integration with the club's existing fitness membership management software to achieve automatic member verification and real-time entry control.
Solution
ZKTeco deployed an integrated entrance control solution featuring the FBL7000 series flap barriers. When a member scans their credential (card/QR code), the fitness management software instantly verifies their membership status and access rights. Upon validation, the system automatically triggers the FBL7000 gate to open, granting the member entry into the facility. The system similarly regulates the exit points, ensuring comprehensive two-way access control. This automated solution effectively screens and manages authorized individuals while logging all attendance data automatically, eliminating the need for constant on-site staff supervision.
