REQUIREMENTS

The client required an integrated perimeter and building entrance management system to oversee both  vehicle and pedestrian access:

• Controlled Access Management: Establish restricted, multi-level access for employees, temporary  contractors, and visitors. 

• Traffic Flow Optimization: Eliminate entry congestion and optimize traffic flow at perimeter gates and  pedestrian doorways.

• Enhanced Facility Security: Strengthen physical security protocols across operational zones and  administrative offices. 

• Multi-Format Integration: Support seamless compatibility with RFID cards and biometric authentication  hardware.

SOLUTION

ZKTeco implemented a unified physical security and parking management architecture to control vehicle and  personnel access across the Batam facility: Vehicular Access Management: Deployed BGM560 barrier gates paired with VR10 Pro Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras to automate vehicle identification, allowing swift, hands-free access for  authorized fleets while tracking entry/exit logs. Pedestrian Entrance Control: Installed TS1000 Pro tripod turnstiles fitted with EP10C RFID readers for secure,  orderly pedestrian verification. Centralized Access Processing: Powered by InBio260 Pro IP controllers linked to a central management  platform, enabling real-time monitoring, credential management, and comprehensive site event logging. This integrated deployment automates site entry, protects critical manufacturing assets, and ensures safe,  organized movement throughout the facility.
