ABOUT CLIENT
Niagara Bottling is a family-owned company founded in 1963 and one of the leading beverage manufacturers in the United States. Specializing in bottled water and a broad portfolio of beverages, the company is recognized for delivering high-quality products, competitive value, and a strong commitment to innovation, customer service, and sustainability.
REQUIREMENTS
To support its manufacturing facility in Mexico (Embotelladora Niágara de México), Niagara Bottling required a comprehensive physical security upgrade:
• Integrated Site Access Control: Implement an integrated pedestrian and vehicular access control infrastructure to elevate overall perimeter security and manage daily traffic flow.
• Automated Operational Efficiency: Automate high-throughput access points to streamline employee shift changes and authorized vehicle movements without compromising security.
• Centralized Management: Deploy a reliable, scalable system supporting centralized monitoring and access permission management across the plant.
SOLUTION
ZKTeco deployed a heavy-duty physical access control solution combining full-height pedestrian turnstiles with automated vehicular barrier gates:
• Pedestrian Access Control: Installed two AEGIS1000 units and eight AEGIS2000 full-height turnstiles at main perimeter checkpoints. These heavy-duty turnstiles enforce single-person passage, effectively eliminating tailgating while managing high-volume employee movement into restricted operational zones.
• Vehicular Access Control: Deployed four AMTLBGM barrier gates across primary vehicular checkpoints to regulate entry and exit for transport trucks, corporate fleets, and authorized personnel seamlessly. This combined deployment automates both pedestrian and vehicular traffic flow, significantly reinforcing facility security, eliminating entry point bottlenecks, and providing a centralized, reliable management platform for Embotelladora Niágara de México.
