NAIROBI, KENYA – May 2026 — ZKTeco East Africa marked a major milestone in regional tech innovation this month at the inaugural AI Everything Kenya x GITEX Kenya 2026, held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). As one of Africa’s largest technology exhibitions—drawing innovators and leaders from 68 countries—the event provided the perfect stage for ZKTeco to launch its latest AI-powered security and digital infrastructure.

Throughout the two-day event, ZKTeco gave attendees and industry leaders hands-on experience with its evolving AI and IoT ecosystem, focusing on three core pillars of digital transformation:

Next-Gen Access Control & Smart Space Management: Visitors experienced live demonstrations of ZKTeco's advanced facial recognition and contactless visitor management systems, designed to streamline security for corporate offices, campuses, and industrial sites.

AI-Driven Urban Mobility & Smart Parking: To address modern infrastructure needs, ZKTeco introduced its automated parking solutions. The system integrates real-time License Plate Recognition (LPR), automated entry/exit management, and seamless cashless payments—drawing significant interest from real-estate developers and municipal planners.

ZKDigimax Smart Displays: Moving beyond security, the company highlighted its cutting-edge digital signage platform, showing businesses how to leverage dynamic, data-driven content management to boost customer engagement and modern advertising.

"GITEX Kenya wasn’t just an exhibition; it was a clear signal that East Africa is ready for the next leap in AI integration," said Dirk‏, ‏Managing Director at Kenya. "We saw a fundamental shift in what our clients are looking for. It’s no longer just about 'locking a door'; it’s about creating frictionless environments. Whether it’s an office building using touchless facial recognition or a smart parking facility optimizing urban flow with license plate recognition, the goal is to use AI to make daily operations invisible and intuitive. We are here to ensure that as this region scales, its digital infrastructure remains as secure as it is seamless."

ZKTeco East Africa's standout presence at GITEX Kenya 2026 reinforces its commitment to delivering localized, high-impact intelligent solutions that move the region's digital economy forward.
